Grain Storage Facility Electrical & Control System (Grenfell)

We delivered a comprehensive electrical and control system upgrade for a grain storage facility in Western Australia, supporting the modernisation of its main switchboard and associated control infrastructure. The project included the upgrade of a 415V 1200A 36kA switchboard, PLC control integration, remote I/O systems, and detailed electrical engineering. Our team focused on delivering a safe, compliant, and construction-ready solution tailored to the operational requirements of the facility.
The project incorporated detailed design verification, single-line diagrams, schematics, PLC and instrumentation layouts, protection studies, fault-level analysis, relay grading, and arc-flash risk assessment in accordance with applicable Australian standards. Earthing design, commissioning, and site verification were also undertaken to ensure reliable system performance. The completed upgrade improved operational flexibility, strengthened electrical protection, and provided a fully commissioned system ready for ongoing facility operations.
