Pet Food and Rendering Plant Automation
We delivered a full electrical instrumentation and control automation upgrade for a pet food and rendering plant storage facility in NSW, centred on a 415V 1200A 36kA switchboard. The scope covered design, project management, and commissioning of a fully automated process spanning powder handling, liquids handling, and cooling equipment, along with MCC switch room build, installation, and field wiring all delivered against the client’s Functional Description.
The project incorporated cable, equipment, and I/O schedules, single-line diagrams, control schematics, termination drawings, and cabinet and MCC general arrangements. Systems integration included PLC and safety controller programming, local HMI projects, drive configuration, and dry commissioning. Electrical installation covered supply, fabrication, and installation of the switch room and main MCC, PLC and control gear integration with capacity for future lines, HMI stations, pneumatic control cabinets, marshalling boxes, and field devices.
